Surf School Year 5-6 2020

Year 5 and 6 students will be invited to participate in the Surf School Program run and organised by Surf Life Saving Qld.  The aim of the activities offered to the students  is to learn surf survival and be able to identify signage, rips, where to swim and what to do if they need some assistance at the beach.

Children are to meet their class teacher in the tuckshop area at 8am on the day and be on the bus ready to leave by 8:15.  Bus will aim to return to the school at 3:15pm

Students need to bring with them:

  • Morning Tea/Lunch/afternoon tea
  • Rash shirt
  • Togs/swimmers
  • Hat (NOT cap)
  • Sunscreen
  • Thongs
  • Water bottle
  • Towel
  • Quick change of clothes
