Prep is an Early Education Program, only offered in primary schools. It is a full-time program and children attend from Monday to Friday during normal school hours, generally from 8.50 am to 3 pm. Children must be five years old by 30 June in the year they start Prep.
All future Prep enrolments must provide an original Birth Certificate before commencement of your child into the State School system. If you do not have a birth certificate you will need to order one from the appropriate Births, Deaths and Marriages Registry.
Each new family enrolment requires three (3) forms of Residential Identification to support your catchment address. These are rates/lease, utilities and QLD license. If your prep student has an older sibling already enrolled at LRSS then there is no requirement for residential identification.
